Colin, owner of Magnetico Magnetic Reading Glasses, approached me to design an eCommerce shop for his business. His current online shop was difficult to update and he needed to bring more of the management of the site into his business to save costs. Being located in Kilkenny was also an advantage as now Colin can meet with me at any stage to discuss digital strategies to drive more traffic and optimise conversions as the site grows. The website is built using WordPress with an integration with Woocommerce. These 2 pieces of software fitted the customer’s needs as they are easy to update and manage by the Magenticos team. WooCommerce is integrated with Stripe to streamline the acceptance of credit cards for the business. Stipes low fees (1.4% + €0.25c) were the perfect choice for the business.
