KCD FRS is a large employer based in Kilkenny. They are part of the FRS Network group of companies.
The company specialises in the following areas.
- Fencing
- Farm Store in Kilkenny.
- Farm Relief.
The needed a new website as their previous site was old, outdated and not mobile responsive. It was also difficult to update.
FRS approached me with the following goals in mind.
- Build a mobile responsive website.
- Promote each functional area of the business.
- Feature on the search engines.
The site was built on the WordPress CMS. During the building of the site, there was a strong focus on the site architecture as the business has a lot of strings to its bow.
This careful planning has set us on a strong foundation for success on the search engines.
Another area the business focuses on is the recruitment of staff for their farm relief service. To streamline this process we integrated a jobs board into the site, This allows applicants to apply for jobs posted directly via the website.
Staff were trained how to update the website and post jobs and integrate with social media.
